The Australian Government has recently appointed, as one of 10 Jobs and Skills Councils (JSCs), the Public Safety Industry Committee to establish a new entity to provide services that support skilled and robust public safety and government workforces.
Who is Public Skills Australia?

Our Work
PolicePolice Training Package Release 11
The POL Police Training Package Release 11 will see the update to a range of qualifications to support the Policing industries workforce capability and training priorities. Public Skills Australia will update the POL Police Training Package Release 11 in collaboration with the Australia New Zealand Policing Advisory Agency (ANZPAA), the peak body of the policing industry within Australia and New Zealand. This project will support the supervisory and management capabilities within police agencies. Additionally, police agencies have prioritised the update of the Not for Public Access (NFPA) training products regarding Bomb Technical Response to be included in the upcoming release. Release 11 presents a valuable opportunity to engage with a key industry partner through alignment of the qualifications with cross-jurisdictional strategies and capability development frameworks.
