Public Skills Australia is developing training products related to skills and capability priorities defined in the Workforce Plan, with support from key stakeholders from the Government and Public Safety industry-Sectors. The Annual Training Product Development Plan and Annual Implementation, Promotion and Monitoring Plan, accessible within our individual project pages, details approved project activities for 2024 and 2025. This plan outlines the development of training products and specifically addresses changes to training package products, such as updates, reviews, and creation of new products.
Fire and Emergency ServicesEmergency Tree Operations
This project will see the development of a Findings Report which will highlight the wide range of tree operations conducted by State Emergency Services (SES) and Fire and Emergency members, analyse their capability requirements, and consider the contextualisation of existing training products to meet these needs.
Correctional Services Implementation Findings Report
This project will help identify the targeted support Public Skills Australia can provide Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) in delivering this important qualification
Auslan, Interpreting and Translating Qualification Review
This project will see the development of a Findings Report that will document the challenges impacting the utilsation of the Auslan training qualification.
